I always wanted to cover a world cup in my blog .. but the early exit of India from world cup .. and I just couldn't do that .. that was a shock for me .. I still think the world cup is just around the corner ... Sachin is going to get that for me and his millions of fans. I was planning to get a Lazy Boy chair for the cricketing festival ... was planning to watch "Pepsi TV" ... all went wrong except destiny.
After desperately trying to separate myself from cricket for 2 months, I am back .. yes with more love and passion for cricket .. but this time .. not just for Indian cricket .. its for cricket ..

Super Eight starts today
After the shocking exit of Popular teams like Team India and Pakistan, the world cup enters into next phase. Super Eight is already a controversial pattern in Asia as the Asian biggies are already out ( same thing happened in after South Africa's exit during last world cup). The blame game is already started in India cricket.
Expecting the retirement announcement from Anil Kumbale in coming days. What a great baller he is. Saddest part for me is "last time I saw him in blues when he was sitting in the dressing room"

Good Bye Inzi
Its really hard to believe that "THE POTATO" is not going to play shorter from of international cricket.
I will definitely miss the Run Outs, Lazy Shots, Super Sixes, and "Sweet English" from the "AALOO".. Sachin Tendulkar will miss his favorite victim.

ICC Cricket World cup 2007
I was waiting for march '07 from last four years .. The cricket Mahakumbh has already started but lot of early shocks to cricketing world as Pakistan one of the good teams from Asia are knocked out in first round. Sudden death of Bob Wolmer.
Indians are struggling to find their position in second round and rain god affecting nearly every game.
Bangladesh would be the great outcome to the world cricket after this tournament. I would avoid writing about Ireland because everyone is doing that. Just few words .. Good Team with great attitude and hunger to win.
Moral of the First Round in WCC '07: "Minnows are made to surprise"
